Madonna – who adopted her two youngest children from Malawi – wrote: “Follow my new account @raisingmalawi and find out what we are doing next and how and what you can do to help!”

The new account features a number of images of the organisation’s work, as well as a link to donate to the charity.

The donation page states: “Help feed a child. Help educate a girl. Help provide life-saving surgeries.
